Homes for Nature

On 17th October we got together with Bilbrook Codsall Scouts again and made more homes for wildlife.  Every year for the past 5 years we have been making habitats for wild life and this year it was bird boxes.  With the materials pre-cut beforehand, the scouts were split into their patrols, given hammers and nails and under supervision, were allowed to make the bird boxes.

After much banging, discussion, disassembly and reassembly all 4 bird boxes were complete.  They will be put up in the Jubilee Wood this winter, in plenty of time for them to be used next spring by our wild birds
