On Saturday 14 March 2020 we were joined by the Belvide Ringers who once again, carried out bird ringing in the Jubilee Wood.
Lots of Wildlife
It was the best turnout from birds and people alike. Overall we caught, ringed and released 57 birds consisting 10 different species: wren, robin, blackbird, blue tit, great tit, coal tit, goldfinch, redwing and house sparrow. If you like looking at our wild birds, don’t forget the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch which is coming up on the weekend 25-26 January. The species you count will help inform the RSPB on how well our wild birds are faring nationally.
We would like to thank Colin and all his team from the Belvide Ringers who made this all possible.
